A pump is an electronic device which delivers feed through a tube to the patient, over a recommended period of time and at a recommended rate.
It is easy to use and suitable for either home or hospital environments.

Not all patients with a feeding tube require a pump for feeding. Gravity or bolus feeding may be used to deliver feed for some patients via a giving set or a syringe.
